Abstract
El estudio se centra en conocer el estado actual del proceso de autoevaluación de carreras de la Escuela Superior Politécnica de Chimborazo (ESPOCH). Para llevar a cabo la investigación, se utilizó un enfoque cuali-cuantitativo; la modalidad de investigación bibliográfica y de campo. Como resultados se determinó que el 86% de comisiones utilizan mecanismos manuales para dar seguimiento al proceso de autoevaluación, el 71% están preparados para el análisis de información necesaria para autoevaluación, 89,29% tienen dificultades para el cálculo del indicador eficiencia terminal y el 78,57% en el indicador Tasa de retención; el 64% utiliza una Hoja de Cálculo como mecanismo tecnológico para valorar indicadores y el 96% considera que tarda mucho tiempo en recopilar datos y valorar los indicadores para autoevaluación de carreras.
