Abstract
La enseñanza del inglés en la educación superior latinoamericana es un factor clave para el desarrollo de los individuos y la economía. Esto se debe a la creciente globalización y el desarrollo tecnológico, que han aumentado la demanda de habilidades lingüísticas. Esto permite a los estudiantes tener acceso a nuevas oportunidades y contribuir al desarrollo de sus países.Esta investigación llevada a cabo mediante una búsqueda documental, presenta una perspectiva sobre los métodos y experiencias que se llevan a cabo en algunas universidades latinoamericanas para conocer una perspectiva actual. Se concluye que el uso de las TIC para la enseñanza del idioma inglés es la que en su mayoría se investiga y aplica. Asimismo, la incidencia de nuevas metodologías centradas en la innovación va tomando fuerza en la región.
