The situation of adolescents upon reaching the age of majority

Abstract
This research deals with the socio-legal problems faced by orphans, minors, who are in foster homes and under the protection and constitutional protection of the Ecuadorian State and who reach the age of majority. To determine, from a legal point of view, which are the guarantees provided by the State through the Constitution of the Republic of Ecuador and the laws that derive from it, to orphaned children and adolescents who are in foster homes or temporary homes and who have reached the age of majority. The different experts interviewed mentioned that from a legal, juridical and constitutional point of view, there are no norms and/or specific articles that maintain the protection of the Ecuadorian State, through its different institutions, to adolescents who have reached the age of majority.
