Perspectivas y desafíos de las competencias digitales de los profesores de bachillerato en Ecuador

Abstract
El presente artículo científico realiza un análisis de los desafíos a los que se enfrentan los docentes en la adquisición de competencias digitales en el Colegio de Bachillerato Jorge Enrique Chávez Celi de Santa Rosa, Ecuador. En el estudio se utilizó un enfoque mixto y diferentes tipos de estudios para garantizar la calidad de la investigación. Se aplicó un enfoque cuantitativo y descriptivo transversal, utilizando una muestra de 25 docentes que fueron censados y se aplicaron diferentes métodos de investigación en cada fase del estudio. En la fase de investigación de campo se utilizaron cuestionarios y fichas de observación para medir las variables a estudiar. Los resultados de este estudio indican que los docentes enfrentan desafíos en la adquisición de competencias digitales, especialmente aquellos que tienen más experiencia en el campo educativo. Por lo tanto, es importante que las instituciones educativas implementen programas de formación y actualización en competencias digitales para sus docentes, a fin de mejorar la calidad del proceso de enseñanza y aprendizaje.
